Sherry Pooley, designer and co-founder, is the mother of four children.  Sherry has been designing and sewing clothing and home accessories since childhood.  She*kat is the realization of a lifelong desire to combine her entrepreneurial spirit and creative flare in a marketable endeavor.

Kathy Clark, co-founder and Business Manager, is the mother of two children.  Desire to spend more time with her children led her to resign from a successful career in accounting.  With the creation of she*kat, she again finds herself tapping into her accounting and business skills. Her time spent with she*kat fulfills her need for professional growth without intruding on  family life.
